3&5-Jail Term Handed down to 4 Suspects over Assembly in Jurdab

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Fourth High Criminal Court, presided over by judge Ali Al-Dhahrani with the memberships of judges Osama Al-Shadhili and Wael Ibrahim, and Ahmad Al-Sulaiman as secretariat, handed down 5-year jail term to 2 suspects over assembly, arson and planting hoax bomb in Jurdab, sentenced 2 others to 3 years in prison, acquitted the fifth suspect and ordered the confiscation of seized items.
The Public prosecution claims that on October 3, 2014, the 5 defendants, along with other unknown suspects, deliberately set fire to tires and to a car parked on the side of the street, endangering people's lives and properties, planted a hoax bomb for a terrorist aim, took part, along with other unknown suspects, in an assembly of more than 5 persons, aiming at disrupting public peace and that they used violence to achieve the aim they gathered for aim as well as acquiring Molotov.
It is noteworthy that Bahrain's Fourth High Criminal Court was created on July 2013 to accommodate the huge number of cases against protesters and activists, and speed up issuing the strict sentences under the Terrorism Act.
