Court Hands down 3-Year Jail Term to Defendant over Hiding Fugitive

Bahrain Mirror: The First High Criminal Court, presided over by Judge Hamad bin Salman Al Khalifa, with the membership of two judges, Dia' Huraidi and Jamal Awad, and the Secretariat of Abdullah Mohammed Hassan, sentenced a defendant to 3 years in prison over hiding a convict.
The court convicted the suspect because in 2015 he hid a convict.
The authorities claim that the defendant hid a convict sentenced to 5 years in prison (over political case), fed him and gave him his ID card and driving license to escape the checkpoints.
It is to mention that the wanted convict is the cousin of the suspect who was handed down a 3-year jail term sentence.
