Six Life Sentences against Defendants Charged with Attempting to Bomb Town

Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court ruled (Wednesday November 23, 2016) life imprisonment sentences against 6 Shiite citizens, whom it accused of attempting to bomb the town of Maamir, southeast of Manama.
The court, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), relied in its ruling on technical evidence and convicts' confessions.
Rights organizations report that the Bahraini authorities rely on systematic torture in order to extract confessions and convict defendants in courts.
