Bahrain Mirror: Lawyer Sadiq Al-Dirazi said that the second criminal "appeals" court, presided over by Judge Bader Al-Abdullah, with the membership of judges Wajih Al-Shaer and Omar Al-Saidi and Iman Dismal as a secretariat amended the one-year prison term against Mulla Habib Al-Dirazi making it 6 months only.
Meanwhile, another appeals court is still considering Mulla Habib's second case in which he is sentenced to one-year in prison. The minor criminal court had handed down 2-year jail term to Mulla Abbas Moftah (one year for each case) over two assembly cases in Diraz.
Habib (19 years), a university student, faces two assembly cases (on 25 and 26 June 2016). He is accused of assembling in Diraz, based on the open sit-in held outside Sheikh Isa Qassim's house protesting against the decision that revoked his citizenship.
