Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court adjourned the case raised against the Bahraini Shia spiritual leader Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim until January 5, 2017.
Today on Sunday (December 4, 2016) the court listened to three defense witnesses in the case. Three boxes containing publications of Al-Bayan office, which is affiliated to Sheikh Qassim, were present in court as well.
The local Al-Ayam newspaper, owned by the media advisor to the king, Nabeel Al-Hamar, stated that the court inspected four money counting machines and a letter sent from Yemen requesting financial support.
Sheikh Qassim faces charges related to the Shiite religious obligation of Khums (alms).
