Appeals Court Upholds Jail Sentences & Stripping Nationalities of 5 Accused of Establishing February 14 Group

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Appeals Court upheld verdict imprisoning and revoking citizenships of 5 dissidents accused of establishing February 14 organization.
The public Prosecution said that the High Criminal Court had sentenced two defendants to 15 years in jail and a BD 100,000 fine for each. It also handed down five years in prison to three other convicts and ruled the revocation of the Bahraini citizenship of all the defendants and the confiscation of the items found in their possession.
February 14 organization has been leading protests since 2011 demanding to put an end to Al Khalifa monopoly over power.
