Bahrain Mirror: The third high criminal (appeals) court presided over by judge Rashid bin Ahmad Al Khalifa and membership of judges Ayman Mahran and Walid Al-Azemi and Mobarak Al-Anbar as a secretariat decided to add the two cases in which Sheikh Fadel Al-Zaki and Mohamad Jawad Al-Shehabi are sentenced to two years in prison (one year for each case) based on Diraz assembly, to issue the verdict against them on January 17, 2017.
During yesterday's session, lawyer Sadiq Al-Dirazi presented a plea demanding the acquittal of Sheikh Al-Shehabi and Al-Zaki.
Al-Shehabi and Al-Zaki, who are currently arrested, are accused of taking part in an assembly of more than 5 persons in Diraz on 18-19 July 2016.
Since June, thousands of Bahrainis have been gathering outside Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim house, protesting against the decision that revoked his citizenship.
