BCHR Documents 22 Arbitrary Arrests within One Week, including 5 Children

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) recorded 22 arbitrary arrests, including 5 children between 12-18 December, adding that none of the arrested was released.
The center said on its twitter account that 8 of the citizens were presented to the Bahraini courts last week over 5 politically motivated cases and that 2 of these cases are related to freedom of opinion and expression.
BCHR also noted that 59 peaceful demonstrations were staged in 26 areas across the country and that the authorities cracked down on 4 of them, using tear gas canisters
