Photos: After Police Raids, Thousands Head to Diraz Protest Square & Perform Midday Prayers

Bahrain Mirror: Social media activists published photos showing thousands of citizens outside the house of the spiritual leader of Shia majority Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim.
Protestors, who finished 6 months of continuous sit-in in Diraz, performed the midday prayers on Wednesday (December 21, 2016) outside Sheikh Qassim's house, after the attack that targeted the protest square.
Clashes broke out between the security forces and angry protestors in Bani Jamra village. At least one injury was recorded. Meanwhile, crowded protests marched number of Bahraini villages, condemning the security forces' attack on protestors outside Sheikh Qassim's house.
