Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Interior Ministry announced (Friday December 23, 2016) the death of a Bahraini girl, in the southern province. Information stated that the killer was an officer from the ruling family.

The Interior Minister only said through its "Twitter" account that "a girl was killed on Noun Street in the southern province, and competent authorities are carrying on their measures on this level."

Information clarified that Hamad bin Mubarak bin Sabah Al Khalifa has shot a bullet at the girl, who was with her son, before he turned himself in.
