Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Fourth High Criminal Court sentenced 6 defendants to prison; one of them to 3 years in prison, three others to two years, and two others to a full year in prison, in a case charging them with hiding fugitives and aiding them to escape.
The court convicted the accused as it claims that during April 2016, the defendants hid an individual convicted for a political case, despite their knowledge in this regard. On his part, the defendant confessed to the conviction, saying that one of the fugitives is his cousin who was convicted in two cases, with a total prison sentence of 10 years.
Authorities claimed that the fugitives were aided to flee the country to Iran via boats registered in Iran, and did so by disguising in women wardrobe.
