Bahrain Mirror: The National Democratic Movement Forces in Bahrain called on the country's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to terminate the decision to execute 3 young Bahrainis.

The statement issued Wednesday (January 14, 2017) and signed by the National Democratic Action Society - Wa'ad, Progressive Democratic Tribune, and the Unitary National Democratic Assemblage, said, "Since the early morning, sad and disturbing news have been circulated concerning the soon execution of young men sentenced to death. This brings our country into a dark tunnel with lots of pain."

"We call on the King to terminate and not approve the execution decision to spare our country all the negative and serious repercussions resulted by such a decision", the statement further noted.

Moreover, the statement indicated, "We are confident that the King is aware of the political, social, and security damages that will affect our country and undermine its international reputation, in addition to the risk of causing national incision and tearing our national unity."

"We look forward to a rapid response to our appeal and to all calls by loyal citizens, to stop death penalties, and may this wise decision be a door towards achieving security and political détente, and searching for national, peaceful and fair solutions for the current crisis", the parties went on to say.
