Bahrain Mirror: Thousands of Bahrainis continued to take the streets since this morning on Sunday (January 15, 2017) across the island kingdom after the Public Prosecution, represented by the head of the Terrorist Crimes Prosecutor Attorney-General Ahmad Al-Hammadi, announced the execution of three Bahraini political prisoners, Abbas Al-Samee', Ali Al-Singace and Sami Mushaima'.
Protestors marched through the streets chanting anti-regime slogans and calling for the downfall of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. In response, government forces cracked down on the protests, using heavy shotgun (birdshot) fire and tear gas. This caused a number of injuries among protestors, especially in the village of Diraz and Bani Jamra.
