Bahrain Mirror: Protesters clashed (Monday January 16, 2017) with Bahraini regime forces in various areas in Bahrain. Regime forces shot scattergun bullets and teargas canisters to disperse the crowds protesting the execution of three Bahraini opposition activists.
People took to the streets in night marches in dozens of Bahrainis areas, condemning the execution of Sami Mushaima (42 years old), Abbass Al-Samei (27 years old), and Ali al-Singace (21 years old). Protesters raised banners and pictures of the three martyrs executed by the authorities yesterday (Sunday January 15, 2017).
The Bahraini Court of Cassation had convicted the three martyrs with the murder of an Emirati officer, and two policemen (a Pakistani and a Yemeni). The martyrs had confirmed that they were subjected to torture under which the authorities extracted confessions that were used against them in court.
In the crackdown against pro-democracy protests, the Bahraini authorities rely on thousands of Arab and Asian mercenaries.
