1265 Units to be Constructed in Saudi-Funded Al-Ramli Housing Project

Bahrain Mirror: Multi-million contracts were signed today to construct 1265 units type D11 as part of Al-Ramli housing project. The Ministry of Housing signed the construction contracts with the Saudi Development Fund (SDF), in a package costing BD56.7 million, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
Housing Minister Bassim bin Yacoub Al-Hamer sealed the agreements along with the constructions companies. The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Finance Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdulla bin Abdulmalik Al-Sheikh and SDF representatives, the agency added.
The ministry had already signed another agreement with the Saudi Development Fund to construct 1560 units as part of the first phase of the Southern Town project in package costing BD57.6 million under the Gulf Development Plan.
The project was awarded to Al-Mezeal Construction and Services, Luqman Al-Haddad Construction Company, Mohammed Saif Ajlan Al-Mannai and Al-Nisr Construction Company.
