Court Declines Request to Release Nabeel Rajab, Adjourns Case Until Feb. 21

Bahrain Mirror: Lawyer Mohammad al-Jishi said Wednesday (February 8, 2017) that the court rejected a request to release president of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights, Nabeel Rajab.
The lawyer clarified that the country decided to adjourn the case until the February 21 session, and informed the defense team of receiving a copy of CDs pertinent to the case.
Bahrain launched Nabeel Rajab's trial (January 24, 2017) over a new case accusing him of spreading false rumors, based on statements he had given to media outlets.
