Bahrain Mirror: Al-Wafa'a Islamic Party said that publishing photos of women by the Ministry of Interior is a "moral degradation" and reflects the mischievousness of regime and lack of the least humanitarian and justice principles.
The party considered in a statement on Wednesday (February 22, 2017) that publishing photos and names of citizens accused of joining "terrorist cells" is but a "clear violation for the rights of these people in not defaming them and maintaining their dignities during the interrogations, being not convicted. Moreover, they cannot be convicted in the light of the enforced disappearance and torture they were subjected, noting that the defendants were not given their legal rights and were not provided fair trials."
Al-Wafa'a Islamic Party denounced what the arrested women were subjected to, considering that this act unveils "the lowness and meanness the regime has reached".
