3&5-Year Jail Term Handed down to 3 Suspects over Assembling in Ras Rumman

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Fourth High Criminal Court, presided over by judge Ali Al-Dhahrani and memberships of Ousama Al-Shathili and Wael Ibrahim and Ahmad Al-Suleiman as secretariat, sentenced 2 suspects to 3 years in prison and a third one to 5 years and bind them to pay 519 BD for the damages over burning car, assembling and making riots in Ras Rumman.
The court said that due to the circumstances of the case and given that the suspects are under 18, their sentence was commuted pursuant to article 70/71 of the penal code.
The Public Prosecution convicted the suspects because on December 17, 2015, they deliberately burnt the victim's car (a Philippine), endangering people's lives and money, deliberately put private transportations to danger after setting fire to the assets put on the public street, aiming at disrupting the traffic, deliberately damaged a car owned by a commercial company, took part, along with others, in an assembly and acquired Molotov.
