Court Upholds 5-Year Jail Term against 3 Appellants over Putting Hoax Bomb in Tubli

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Sixth High Appeals Court presided over by judge Ibrahim Al-Zayed and Yousif Buhardan as a secretariat upheld 5-year jail term against 3 appellants over the charge of putting a hoax bomb on the public street in Tubli.
The First-Instance court had sentenced 3 suspects to 5 years in prison and 3 others to 3 years and ordered the confiscation of seized items. Three of the convicts appealed the sentence.
The Public Prosecution accused the suspects of putting, along with other unknowns, hoax bomb on the public street for a terrorist aim, taking part in an assembly of more than 5 persons aiming at disrupting public peace, noting that the suspects used violence to achieve their goal, and acquiring Molotov aiming at using them to endanger people's lives and money.
