Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini citizens said on Tuesday (March 7, 2017) that they waited in Al-Budai street queues for more than two hours, indicating that the authorities have intended to create traffic congestions since about a month.
Citizens stressed that the checkpoint deployed by the security authorities directly after Al-Qidam roundabout intentionally disables traffic, stressing that the traffic queues extended over more than 4 Km.
Hundreds of students and employees failed to reach their schools and jobs on time. Meanwhile, the Al-Wasat newspaper quoted an eyewitness saying "an ambulance had to move on the pavement".
The Ministry of Interior deployed a check point nearly one month ago under the pretext of searching for wanted. Eyewitness say that this checkpoint intends to disrupt traffic in rush hours.
