Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Supreme Court of Appeal presided over by Judge Mohammad bin Ali Al Khalifa and Naji Abdullah as a secretariat neglected the objection of 2 appellants because they did not appear before the court. Thus, the court upheld 7-year jail term against a suspect and 10-year jail term against another one over assembling in Diraz.

The first-instance court had sentenced 10 defendants to 10 years in prison (including 4 suspects who objected the ruling) over assembling and attacking police in Diraz. The court also sentenced 2 suspects to 3 years in prison because they were under 18, over the same charge.

The public prosecution accused the suspects of assaulting the bodily integrity of the victim (the policeman) while performing his duty, for a terrorist aim, taking part in assembly of more than 5 persons aiming at disrupting public peace and endangering people's lives and money, and acquiring Molotov.
