Court Issues 5-Year Jail Term against 2 Defendants over Burning Tires in Buri

Bahrain Mirror: The Fourth High Criminal Court presided over by judge Ali Al-Dhahrani and memberships of judges Ousama Al-Shathili and Wael Ibrahim and Ahmad Al-Suleiman as a secretariat sentenced 2 defendants (19 and 23 years) to 5 years in prison after convicting them of assembling and burning tires in Buri.
The Public Prosecution accused the suspects of setting fire to tires, along with other unknowns, on August 31, 2016, that would put people's lives and money to danger, taking part, along with other unknowns, in an assembly of more than 5 persons aiming at committing crimes and disrupting peace, noting that they used violence to achieve the aim they gathered for, and putting, along with other unknowns, public transportation to danger.
