Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini government, through the Ministry of Housing, vowed to meet the housing applications of the year 2002 by the end of next year end (2018). The government confirmed that the ministry has made great progress in the government's action program agreed upon in the housing sector. This program includes providing 25 thousand housing units, and is supposed to end by the end of next year 2018.
In response to the parliamentary proposal to meet all housing requests of year 2002, the government said that the Ministry of Housing set a housing plan to meet all housing requests in the kingdom. The plan will rely on the governmental action plan for 2015-2016, agreed upon by the parliament. The plan will however be reviewed before settling the next budget.
On another hand, the government rejected a proposal to suggesting that the monthly housing payment would be set as the quarter of the monthly salary, on the condition that it doesn't exceed 150 Bahraini Dinars.
