Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the British Parliament area yesterday Wednesday (March 22, 2017), which claimed the lives of 3 civilians. Al-Wefaq believed this terrorist act as "unethical" that targets the security and stability of the United Kingdom.
Al-Wefaq Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Hussein al-Daihi, expressed solidarity with the British people, and those residing in Britain, and further stressed rejection of terrorism through thought, ideology, behavior, funding and sponsorship.
Al-Daihi noted the need to contain terrorism and eradicate it, because it poses a fundamental threat for development, life, production, and coexistence in various countries in the world. Moreover, he indicated that terrorism by itself is expanding vastly, and the sinful hands that practice terrorism in the Middle East are targeting Europe and different countries in the world, thus requiring a wider international effort to combat terrorism.
In addition, the Al-Wefaq official said that the real Islam is innocent of these crimes and acts of terrorism, as a religion that calls for tolerance, coexistence, and preservation of life and property.
