Appeal Court Upholds 2 & 3 Year Prison Verdicts over Molotov Possession

Bahrain Mirror: The Supreme Court of Appeal upheld a First Instance Court verdict ruling a 3-year prison verdict against 3, and 2 years against 2 others. It also ordered to confiscation of fake bomb-like object, in the case linked to planting a fake bomb, burning and possessing Molotov cocktails.
The court's findings against the five defendants said that on March 9, 2015, the defendants, against other unknown individuals, planted fake bombs on a highway, and deliberately set fire to objects for terror purposes. It claimed that this endangered people's lives and properties. The defendants were also accused of taking part in an illegal assembly of more than 5 individuals, in purpose of committing crimes and destabilize security, and of possessing flammable and explosive devices.
