Appeal: 7-Year Imprisonment over Charges linked to Planting Fake Bomb in Jidhafs

Bahrain Mirror: The Sixth Supreme Court of Appeals ruled in favor of a verdict sentencing a defendant to 7 years in prison, for planting 4 bomb-like objects in the city of Jidhafs.
The Public Prosecution accused the defendant of planting in 2016, along with other unknown individuals, 4 fake bombs, for terror purposes.
Authorities claim that information it received reported that rioters at the entrance of Jidhafs city planted 11 unknown objects. Competent apparatuses headed towards the area with the rapid intervention team to tackle the situation. The objects appeared to be fake bombs. The authorities also claimed that it identified the defendant through investigations.
