Al-Wefaq Leader Sheikh Hassan Isa Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Fourth High Criminal Court sentenced on Wednesday (March 29, 2017) Al-Wefaq prominent leader and former MP Sheikh Hassan Isa to 10 years in prison.
Isa was charged with funding "terrorist group" accused of carrying out blast in Sitra that killed two policemen and injured 66 others.
The same court issued death penalty sentences against two suspects and whole-life sentences against 5 others. Meanwhile, it sentenced the other defendants to periods ranging from 6 months to 10 years in prison.
The court also revoked the citizenship of 8 defendants out of 24 suspects in the case (12 of whom are imprisoned).
