Reciter Mahdi Sahwan Held in Hamad Town Police Station for Unknown Reasons

Bahrain Mirror: Eulogy reciter Mahdi Sahwan said in a phone call (Wednesday April 12, 2017) that he is still held in custody at the Hamad Town police station for unknown reasons, and that he hasn't yet been transferred to Jaw Prison to serve his sentence.
The Court of Appeals upheld on April 10, 2017 a 6-month prison verdict against Sahwan for charges of assembly near the house of the Shiite majority spiritual leader, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim.
Sahwan was arrested in court in conduct of the judicial verdict.
