Court Uphold 6-Month Jail Term against 9 Suspects for Clapping & Screaming during their Sentence Hearing

Bahrain Mirror: The Third High Criminal Court presided over by judge Rashid bin Ahmad Al Khalifa and membership of judges Ayman Mohran and Walid Al-Azemi and Mobarak Al-Anbar as a secretariat upheld 6-month jail term issued against 9 suspects because they clapped and screamed during their sentence hearing.
The court convicted the suspects because on January 19, 2016, they publicly undermined the prestige of the judges of the First High Criminal Court.
The authorities say that all the suspects publicly undermined the prestige of the high criminal court judges when the verdict against him was issued, adding that the suspects clapped, screamed and mocked the court.
The court demanded that the suspects be referred to the public prosecution to take its actions against them.
