Bahrain Mirror: The security authorities released today (April 15, 2017) Sheikh Mohammad Al-Mansi, who is in charge of the demolished mosques' file at the Ulama Islamic Council, after serving his one-year jail term.
The authorities arrested Al-Mansi on Friday (April 15, 2016) over the charge of performing prayers without a licence. However, his lawyer confirmed later that the lawsuit was brought forth based on a complaint raised by the administration of Jaffaria Endowments (Waqf) that is assigned by a royal decree.
Activists published photos showing Sheikh Al-Mansi visiting the martyrs' graveyards in his village, Shahrakan, after his release. The village's residents announced that Sheikh Al-Mansi will receive the congratulators on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 PM to 9:3 PM at Al-Sabasiba obsequy in Shahrakan.
