Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini Security Forces lifted on Wednesday (April 19, 2017) the imposed siege on the Sheikh Maitham Cemetery in Umm Al Hassam, in which martyrs Rida al-Ghisra, Mahmoud Youssef, and Mostafa Youssef were buried. Al-Ghisra and his companions were killed at sea after security forces shot them on February 9, 2017.
Since the Freedom Martyrs were buried on February 12, 2017, authorities imposed a siege on Sheikh Maytham Cemetery, to prevent residents from holding elegies. Authorities even allowed only one member of the 3 martyrs' families to attend the washing and burial rituals.
