Appeals Court Upholds 6-Month Imprisonment for 63-Year-Old over Assembly Charges

Bahrain Mirror: The Second High Criminal Court of Appeal upheld the 6-month prison verdict against 63 year old Bahraini over charges of assembly in Manama.
The Public Prosecution accused him, along with unknown others, of taking part in an assembly of more than 5 individuals.
Authorities claim that they received a communication on February 5, 2014, informing them that around 40 individuals took to the street in an unlicensed march towards Bab Al-Bahrain. They added that they were able to identify the defendant based on investigations.
