Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Fifth High Criminal Court presided over by judge Ebrahim Al-Zayed and membership of judges Mohsen Mabrouk and Moataz Abu Al-Ezz and Yousif Bu Hardan as a secretariat sentenced a suspect to 7 years in prison and 2 others, who escaped with him from dry dock detention center, to 2 years.
The court convicted the suspects because the first suspect left the Bahraini lands without the permission of the competent employee. It also convicted the first and two suspects because they attacked the bodily integrity of one of the public security members, noting that the attack did not hinder him from performing his personal works for more than 20 days, and stole the movables mentioned in the document and owned by the ministry of interior using violence. Besides, the two suspects helped the third one to escape from the pre-trial detention.
The prosecution accused the 3 suspects of damaging fixed and movable money owned by the ministry of interior and escaping from detention center.
