Court Sentences 2 Suspects to 10 Years in Prison, Revokes their Citizenships

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's court presided over by judge Ali Al-Dhahrani and memberships of judges Ousama Al-Shathili and Wael Ibrahim and Ahmad Al-Suleiman as a secretariat sentenced two suspects to 10 years in prison and stripped them of their nationalities on charges of undergoing training on the use of weapons and explosives.
The court acquitted the suspects from the charge of joining a terrorist organization in breach of the law.
The authorities claim that the second suspect took refuge in Iran and Iraq and contacted Bahraini youths to recruit them and train them to use weapons and manufacture explosives to carry out terror attacks in Bahrain.
The authorities claim that the second suspect agreed with the first one to meet him in Iraq. On the following day, the second suspect took the first one to the training place to be trained by the Iraqi Hezbollah members and he was then sent to campuses affiliated to Hezbollah and was later returned to Bahrain.
The Public Prosecution accused the first suspect of joining terrorist group in breach of the law with the aim to disable the Constitution and the law and make chaos. He was also charged with forming groups in different areas to practice violence and vandalism and receiving training to use weapons and explosives.
The prosecution accused the second suspects of taking part in the incident through inciting, agreeing and helping the first suspect to join the said group and taking part in training on use of weapons.
