Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini scholar and preacher of Imam al-Sadiq Mosque in Manama, Sayed Abdullah Al Ghuraifi believed that "the case of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim put the country in front of a very difficult turn."
"Ayatollah Qassim's case would either lead to huge détente for the country towards all the good, or to a choice whose consequences are severe, harsh and painful", Sayed Al Ghuraifi said.
"In this case, I find myself compelled to be frank and clear (...), and I don't aim to be agitating and impulsive," he said, adding that Sheikh Qassim "has a very special religious, spiritual, and national status, and we don't want this country's record to include anything that might wrong this high-ranked figure and scholar."
"No matter how many perceptions and convictions there are, this wise man represents a great symbol for a sect that has a heavy presence in this country, as he represents a unique title in the entire world," Sayed Al Ghuraifi went on to say.
