Higher Education Council Warns Universities from Accepting Scholarships without His Approval, FA Ministry Consent

Bahrain Mirror: In the third of its kind circular issued by the official parties, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council Abdulghani Al-Shuwaikh stressed on banning the universities and private colleges under his supervision from dispatching any of their students in scholarships, without the approval of the higher education council, given that the scholarship should be sent from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Al-Shuwaikh warned that measures are to be taken against any institution the violates this decision, calling on the institutions of higher education and their bodies to consult the office of Secretary General of the Higher Education Council to make sure that the scholarship meets the requirements mentioned in the Cabinet decision before accepting it or enrolling its program.
