Detainee Sayed Alawi not Allowed to Meet his Family or Lawyer after Over 6 Months of Arrest

Bahrain Mirror: Family of detainee Sayed Alawi Hussein said that the Bahraini security authorities are still preventing Sayed Alawi from meeting his family or lawyer since he was arrested on October 2016.
The family warned in a statement today (May 3, 2017) that no one knows Alawi's health and psychological status, noting that he hasn't called his family since February 28.
At the end of its statement, the family held the ministry of interior responsible for the wellbeing of Sayed Alawi, demanding his immediate release.
