Bahrain Mirror: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the statements made by the Ambassador of Syria to the Republic of Lebanon, which constitute an unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of Bahrain. The ministry considered that "these statements reflect a clear contradiction to the realities in the Kingdom which supports and guarantees all freedoms and rights and is a model of coexistence and tolerance among all".
The Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul Karim Ali issued a statement to the Lualua TV on (May 4, 2017) in which he called "to pursue everyone who violently confronted the peaceful movement in Bahrain".
The Ministry is surprised by such irresponsible and blatant statements at a time when all efforts must be made to speed up the development of peaceful solutions to the Syrian crisis that will end the suffering of the Syrian people and restore Syria's status and preserve its sovereignty, territorial integrity and the safety of its people.
The Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs had already announced in an interview with the "Al-Hayat" newspaper that his country, along with the other Gulf States, is supplying the Syrian opposition with arms to topple the regime.
