Leader in Al-Wefaq to Al-Mayadeen Channel: Leakages Say Sheikh Qassim's Verdict would be Imprisonment & Forcible Deportation

Bahrain Mirror: Al-Mayadeen Channel said on its website that anxiety and tension in Bahrain escalated with the countdown of the sentence hearing of the highest religious authority in the country, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim.
Al-Mayadeen reported a high level leader in Al-Wefaq saying that there are leakages stating that the jurisdiction may issue "harsh sentence" imprisoning Sheikh Qassim "with the suspension of the sentence, and forcibly deport him from the country," adding that the leakages talked about dangerous scenario set by the authority in Bahrain following the trial.
The leader further stated "The outcomes of Sheikh Qassem's trial may spark sectarian tensions in the region, and we do not wish that Bahrain turns into an arena for political and sectarian unrest."
The leader said in a statement to "Al-Mayadeen Net" that the regime seeks through this trial to burn up the last chance for national guarantee in Bahrain," and warned from the regional consequences in the Islamic world after Sheikh Qassim's trial for the high rank he has among religious authorities and Islamic Hawzas.
The leader indicated that these measures will have dangerous consequences in Bahrain and will lead to security breakdown that can't be predicted now. He stressed that "We have not and will not accept that there is a case against Sheikh Qassim".
On the hand, Al-Mayadeen reported "legal sources" that said that Sheikh Qassim's trial on Sunday will the final one.
