Appeals Court Sentences 2 Suspects to One Year in Prison over Burning Tires in Al-Malikiya

Bahrain Mirror: The Supreme Court of Appeals accepted the rejections of two appellants and commuted their 2-year jail verdict to one year over arson case in Al-Malikiya.
The First High Criminal Court had sentenced 2 suspects to 2 years in prison over assembling and burning tires in Al-Malikiya. Meanwhile, it acquitted the first suspect.
The Public prosecution accused the 3 suspects of deliberately setting fire, along other unknowns, on February 13, 2014, in the movables mentioned in the documents for a terrorist aim, noting that the fire would put people's lives and money to danger and taking part, along with a juvenile and other unknowns, in an assembly of more than 5 persons aiming at committing crimes and disrupting public peace, noting that they used violence to achieve the aim they gathered for.
