Bahrain Mirror: A number of Bahraini labourers protested on Monday (May 15, 2017) before the Ministry of Labour, demanding that they get paid their wages that have been reportedly delayed for over the past four months.
Bahraini Undersecretary of Ministry of Labor Sabah Al-Dosari said that the labourers "work in one of the major contracting companies and that it pledged the ministry more than once to pay the workers, but it couldn't keep its promise due to financial distress."
Al-Dosari indicated that the company had already deported a number of its workers and will dismiss and deport the others. Meanwhile, the ministry still seeks to succeed in making the company pay the wages for the Bahraini workers.
