1-Month Prison Verdict Upheld in Case Linked to Insulting Police in Dry Dock Prison

Bahrain Mirror: The Second High Criminal Court ruled in absentia against an appeal, waiving the right for appeal due to the absence of the appellant.
The First Instance court had ruled in absentia a 1-month prison verdict and a 500 Bahraini Dinar bail against the defendant.
The Public Prosecution had accused on August 13, 2013 the defendant of insulting a public employee (prison police officer) while performing his duty, monitoring the detainees' wards at the Dry Dock Prison.
