In a Tweet through his twitter account, Zarif believed the Trump Summit came to compliment the Gulf rulers, whom he described as oppressors. He noted that the Bahraini regime has not become more daring as a result, pointing out that this is what led it to storm into Diraz today.
On the same level, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson condemned the attack on Diraz, the raid on Sheikh Isa Qassim's house, and the injury of dozens of citizens. He said that this action, complicates the situation in Bahrain, believing that the security forces' attack on Sheikh Isa Qassim's house is a miscalculation by the Bahraini government.
