Appeal: 3 Years of Prison for Abdullah Al-Binali for Attempting to Flee Bahrain with Friend’s Passport

Bahrain Mirror: The Supreme Court of Appeals upheld the verdict of Abdullah al-Binali (26-year-old) who is wanted for security reasons, for joining the terrorist ISIS affiliation. The verdict ruled a 3-year imprisonment against him, based on accusations of attempting to leave the kingdom, using his friend's passport. His plan was to head to Oman, and then Turkey, where he would seek political asylum.
Abdullah al-Binali is the brother of Turki al-Binali, the well-known Bahraini leader in the terrorist organization ISIS.
