Leaks: UAE Ambassador Says His Country Seeks Success of Mohammad bin Salman in Saudi Arabia

Bahrain Mirror: UAE Ambassador to Washington, Yousef Al Otaiba said that his country is working hard to make successful the experience of Mohammad bin Salman, Saudi deputy Crown Prince.
In the leaked email dated April 21, 2017 to David Ignatius, a Washington Post column writer, and after publishing an interview with Saudi Deputy Crown Prince in a visit to Saudi Arabia, Otaiba said, "Our job now, is to do everything possible to ensure MBS (Mohammad bin Salman) succeeds."
Otaiba praised in his email, which was also sent [CCed] to UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, and thanked journalist Ignatius for conducting the interview.
"Thank you for taking the time to go out there and meet with MBS", the email said, adding, "I think we would all agree these changes in Saudi are much needed. So I'm relieved to find that you saw what we've been seeing and frequently trying to convey."
"Your voice and your credibility will be a huge factor in getting reasonable folks to understand and believe what's happening," Otaiba added in his leaked email.
The aforementioned email confirmed previous reports suggesting the UAE role in supporting the Saudi deputy crown prince, Mohammad bin Salman, on the expense of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Nayef, whose political future is seeing increasing doubts.
