Bahrain Mirror: Youth Raed Al-Sairafi died as a result of drowning, while youth Qassim Abdulhamid was missed in the sea after a sudden malfunction in their boat, near Umm Al Naasan Island facing King Fahd Causeway, before massive waves capsized the boat.

Nidal Abdulhamid and Sayed Hashem survived the accident. The two hang onto the boat till the morning of the following day, until they received help from one of the cars passing on the causeway. The driver noticed two individuals hanging onto the boat, thus he directly called the coast guard whose members immediately came to the scene and transferred the two youths to the hospital.
