Appeal Court Upholds 3-Year-prison Sentence against Two Defendants over ATM Fire in Manama

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini High Court of Appeal upheld a three-year sentence issued against two defendants (out of three) over charges of setting fire to an ATM at Al-Pearl Street in the capital Manama.
The prosecution accused the first and second defendants of deliberately setting fire on 3/10/2014 to an ATM, whose type, description and value are stated in the investigations and which is owned by the National Bank of Bahrain, adding that they, as a result, endangered people's lives and properties.
It; however, accused the third defendant of being complicit in agreement and assistance with the first and second defendants in committing the said crime that they were convicted of, stressing that he agreed with them to commit the crime and provided them with the necessary tools for carried out the act for a terrorist purpose.
