10-Year Imprisonment, Citizenship Revocation for Defendant over Joining ISIS, Possessing Firearm

Bahrain Mirror: The First High Criminal Court ruled a 10-year prison verdict, in addition to the citizenship revocation, of 23-year-old defendant, after accusing him of joining the terrorist affiliation ISIS. He was accused of being a focal point that links ISIS affiliates inside the country and outside.
On his part, Chief of Terror Crime Prosecution Advocate General Ahmed Al Hammadi, said that today Thursday (June 15, 2017), the First High Criminal Court issued a ruling against a defendant accused of joining ISIS. Al Hammadi noted that the defendant was also accused of possessing unlicensed firearm for terrorist purposes.
