Education Ministry: Change in Intermediate Education Certificate Honor List Came after Mistake in Grades

Bahrain Mirror: The Public Relations and Media Directorate at the Ministry of Education has announced a slight change in the honour list of top achievers in the Intermediate Education Certificate. It added that the mistake was monitored after reviewing the exam papers.
Student Shajan Abdulhakim was named as the top achiever with an average of 99.83% following the correction of a typing mistake, the directorate said. It explained that the student's exam paper had not been re-corrected, but her 100 score in one the subjects was wrongly typed as 50.
The directorate pointed out that the mistake was corrected as soon as it was detected and that those who committed it were held responsible.
