Bahrain Mirror: Information reported that the Bahraini government tried to impose restrictions on the Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights delegation that was supposed to visit Bahrain last week. The delegation on its part refused the planned restrictions.
Before the commission's visit to Bahrain, the government imposed conditions that the government should be informed about all the delegation's meetings inside the country. The delegation, however, refused this condition, which therefore led to the government to cancel the visit.
Bahrain's Deputy Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Dossari had announced the postponement of the delegation's visit for reasons he dubbed "technical and logistic".
